Nice. Did you go to the last parade? We drove up to Boston from Philly on Friday night, slept a couple hours, did the parade, lunch with some family near by, and drove home.
So even if they are eliminated in the first round and we don't play them, will they be haunting you? Would you rather they make it to the ALCS so we can slap them around a little?

Nope. No need to play them in the ALCS. BoSox already proved themselves in '04. Made the win real. This time, I'd rather have it a little easier in September/October. Especially since I'm not drinking.
I enjoy staying up till 1am to watch Red Sox extra inning playoff baseball. I would also like to have a Sox vs Yankees world series....Luke make it happen.
RA: I agree. Seeing the Yankees end their season at the same time as Tampa Bay will be its own brand of satisfaction.
Tuan: The later the game goes, the sweeter the victory, or the more agonizing the defeat, I agree. I'll work on that series thing. I think we'll have to contract the Nationals out of the league and move NYY to the NL to balance things out.
Raising Sox Fans is brought to you by the Nguyen and Stevens families, proud parents and no strangers to the agony and the ecstasy that is Red Sox Fandom.

I will feel that the Yankees are done when we're having the World Series victory parade thru Boston again....

Nope, we were stuck in Maine. But, I watched it on TV. Actually, I think I watched it on my computer at work.

Not to quote a famous Yankee or nothing, but I'm a firm believer in "it ain't over till it's over."
Because also now our pinstriped enemies are tied with Seattle for the wild card.
Ugh.
I'd stick my head in the sand, but I can't seem to find any here ...
